Lessons from the master

Today I spent time getting lessons from a Master and great mentor.

Here is a great example of a vibrant, Ecologically managed local banana farm. Notice the lush and living environment using cover crops of sweet potato to minimize weed control issues and improve soil health. These plants are happy and healthy, the soil is full of life which benefits the plants and reduces disease stress. Craig has drastically reduced soil erosion on his plot and has few pests problems. He even manages to avoid the problematic Panama disease which we discussed is likely a testament to simply having healthy soil.

Thanks heaps Craig from Our Yard
