Upper Coopers Creek 2482

Market Gardens / Small Crops
Orchards / Tree Crops
Other Agricultural Purposes

Our farm is 42 acres, about half of which is regenerated rainforest, bordering beautiful Upper Coopers Creek. The farm has been a bit neglected for the last 8 years (in my absence), though a few people have had reasonable success with their gardens during that time. Mostly it has been poor organisation and lack of commitment that has stopped further progress.
We have been certified organic for many years on and off, and will be again hopefully in the coming year.
There are 13 dams on the property (some lined and holding water, most not), and hundreds of un-managed fruit trees on swales. There are a few disused garden beds, a weed covered nursery area, a barn, and storage sheds. We also have a single paddock in need of slashing, which can be utilised for mulch and or grazing potentially.
Perhaps our greatest asset is the 140 different species of mature bamboo clumps. Some of the most widely useful species are to be found in great abundance, and there are many very rare and valuable species too.
I am looking for someone with vision who can help uncover the gem that is quietly disintegrating in this magnificent valley. I am willing to be supportive and develop appropriate land based coventures for the right person or team.

Crabbes Creek 2483
Market Gardens / Small Crops
Orchards / Tree Crops
Chickens / Egg Production
Sheep / Cattle
Other Agricultural Purposes

Soil tests have been completed and the property is part way through getting organic certification. It’s currently being used for just a few cows. The road in and out of the property is really good.
We are very keen to long term lease the land to an organic food grower. We are also keen to make this arrangement very affordable and sustainable for a farmer or group of growers. There’s a lot of potential on the land.
I should also mention that there’s the potential to live onsite. There’s access to off-grid power etc so perfect for a semi-perm dwelling. There are also 2 houses on the property that we will be making available for rent. It’s a very large property so privacy and space is all yours, unless a community type situation is something that people are interested in creating.

Hi there young farmers. We have a lovely 93 acre Demeter certified Biodynamic Macadamia farm in Rosebank, Northern NSW. We're keen to lease or share farm all or part of a 10 acre paddock that has full sun, access to heaps of water and has a rich, beautiful soil. We would like someone or perhaps a couple who are young, enthusiastic and looking for an opportunity to grow. You need to be experienced in organic or biodynamic farming practices and have the capacity, the willingness to create this into a productive, profitable vegetable growing enterprise. There is a sweet one bedroom cottage on the farm with large lounge, kitchen and bathroom that has just become available. We currently rent this for $300 per week. This accomodation does not have to be a part of the lease. Give Andy a call if interested or would like some more info. Evenings are best. 0429467402

The farm until 12 years ago was a mix use farm with cattle and macadamia but has since been let go.
I have had it now for a year or so and very keen now to do something with all the additional cleared land I have.
There are no additional dwellings, currently 1500 macadamia trees, tractor + slasher/buckets and accessories.
I have started to look at finger limes, re-introducing the cattle (fencing needs replacing) or some other annual crops
